A timeless newborn session focused on connection and details…

Upon booking a newborn session with me, I send out a questionnaire designed to learn all about the vision you have in mind for your baby’s gallery. Some moms have specific detail shots they’ve been dreaming of, while others love leaving the creative direction completely up to me and there is truly no right or wrong way to document your story.
This mama had a vision, and I absolutely loved it. She was drawn to natural, naked baby poses that highlighted every tiny detail of her sweet baby girl. With a Pinterest board full of inspiration, she shared her ideas with me, giving us the opportunity to think outside the box and create something truly meaningful to her.
Being able to bring her vision to life, one she had imagined throughout her pregnancy was such an honor. It even allowed me to try a few shots I had never done before, making this session not only personal, but creatively inspiring as well.

Every newborn session is designed to be slow-paced, baby-led, and completely unrushed. There is always plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and all the cuddles your baby needs. I follow your baby’s cues throughout the session, allowing us to move gently and naturally without any pressure or expectations. My goal is for parents to feel relaxed, supported, and present so you can simply soak in these moments while I take care of documenting them in a calm, stress-free environment.

This family had a beautiful vintage baby bassinet that has been passed down for over 100 years. It has been part of their family for decades, making it such a meaningful heirloom. Seeing their baby girl nestled inside something so rich with history was incredibly special, and it was truly an honor to document such a precious connection between generations.

She was born around Christmas so we grabbed some lights and got the perfect Christmas card photo!

If you’re expecting, I’d love for you to imagine what your own newborn gallery could look like, the tiny details, the quiet moments, and the story you want remembered from those first days. Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy to ensure availability, with sessions typically taking place within the first couple weeks after birth. If you’d like more information or are ready to reserve your session, you can learn more and inquire through my newborn photography page.
